Based in Indonesia since 2014, Nicolas began as a diving instructor before moving into cruise director roles in 2019.

After gaining experience aboard several liveaboards, he now brings his expertise to Wellenreng, overseeing operations with a hands-on approach to ensure smooth logistics and a consistently high-quality guest experience.

Raised around boats and diving, Marco brings long experience as a cruise director with a strong focus on crew and operations.

He also handles permits and licensing, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in full compliance while maintaining a high-quality experience on board.

With a lifelong connection to the sea, Ryan built his career on the water from an early age.

After earning a degree as a nautical officer, he became a boat captain and went on to specialise in technical operations, maintenance, and safety, ensuring the vessels run to the highest standards.

Based in Indonesia for over 10 years, with extensive experience as a diving instructor across the country’s top diving destinations.

With a background as a resort manager, cruise director, and travel agency owner, he brings strong marketing insight together with a clear understanding of guest expectations.

A French-born marine biologist who has spent most of his life in Indonesia, Jerome is the mind behind the well known Wallacea Dive Cruises.

With decades of experience exploring Indonesian waters and designing itineraries, he brings deep knowledge and strategic guidance to Wellenreng.
